Frost

Looking back at some of the images that I took over summer makes me think what the hell I'm doing in this cold. You wake up and its cold, you go outside and its cold, you go to sleep, guess what? Cold, damn but seeing as it is winter... Winter does have its beauty too, no leaves on the trees, the winter colours, and the way the landscape changes. One thing I love and hate at the same time is frost. When you look at it and the way its formed at that particular moment in time, it does make you think, but when you have to scrape the damn car in the morning, makes you want to... Heres the picture anyway.

Break

We went up North for few days in August. It was nice to get away and the weather held out too. One thing I promised myself was to take more family shots, which usually I don't do because I'm always looking to photograph other stuff but this time I did, so here it is. We don't always look miserable, it was just one of those shots.

BMW Z4

BMW Z4 Convertible, what can you say? Such a beautiful car, fantastic engineering and a pleasure to look at, i'm sure its nice to drive too. Anyway, i was playing assessing the photographic construct, i.e. background/lighting, of a number of these articles of entertainment, including a Mercedes SL Class and Porsche 911 Carrera, then i decided to just go with it on the floor. It took me back, and yes i did push them around and fake car crashes but hey, you do what you gotta do. Here's the end result. Man, i love my job.

Home Grown

Back in May, I posted an image called 'Plant Life,' which you can see below. The seedling in the image is a tomato plant, in mid August the fruit started ripening. We tried a few and they were mouthwateringly delicious, lovely and sweet. After eating a couple and then feeling that I should have photographed them first, I waited another couple of weeks for some more ripe tomatoes. This is an image of the tomato 10 minutes off the plant, 10 minutes after the photograph was taken it was in my mouth, sweet.

Plant Life

This is a tomato plant in its infancy. It was quite difficult to photograph because of how delicate it was. When i took it out of its pot i really thought that the soil/compost would hold together, was i wrong, cue vacuum cleaner.
